A Mountain and Beach Family Session | Malibu, CA

Mom rented two dresses from Perfect Fit Rental on Instagram. We started in one dress in the mountains. At first we weren’t sure if we were going to do our session at the beach or in the mountains, but the May Gray skies decided for us! At first it was super sunny over the mountains, but as our session start time got closer, the gloom crept over the mountain tops and flooded the blue skies. It was still a beautiful session among the mountains and the beautiful little yellow mustard flowers.
We met the next day at the beach in mom’s second gown rental! This time it was just momma and baby. Despite it being overcast, the air was actually quite warm! We wrapped baby up in a blanket for the majority of the session. Then we moved up top and I joked that mom looked like she came straight off the set of “Outlander”
