This Post May Contain Affiliate LinksThere’s something so special about being a part of someone’s journey into Motherhood, and being able to freeze and preserve this fleeting moment in time. That’s why I love Maternity photography so much. Being able to capture the bond of the expecting mother and the tiny babe in her womb, the changes in moms body and the excited anticipation of what’s to come, it fills my heart with joy.
This beautiful Mom is someone I have known for a while. Her husband is one of my best friends from childhood, and I feel so honored to be a part of their parenthood story!
She just happened to be coming into town and asked if we could do a session together! I immediately said yes. We knew we wanted the session at the beach, in the beautiful golden light of fall. We hit PCH and decided to drive by El Matador just to see. Miraculously, the parking lot was fairly empty! We quickly parked my car and headed down to the sandy shore.
